PROBLEM

Last year , there were 731,000,000 dishonored checks passed in this country putting approximately $54 billion at risk.

Most organizations, companies, or professionals which accept checks find the traditional process of collecting dishonored checks to be costly, time-consuming, embarrassing, and resulting in a large percentage of lost clients due to collection techniques.

The problem with traditional dishonored check recovery is: from time of the check being written to the time the funds are returned to the recipient's account, is from one to four months. The check recipient loses the use of this money for a longer period of time.
Traditional recovery procedures are usually tracked manually without any organized reporting system.

The check is then returned to recipient and the arduous process of attempted collection begins.  Telephone calls (employers' time can be better spent on other tasks), letter writing, and finally turning the check over to the prosecuting attorney takes time and costs a great deal of money.

Since most bad checks are written by really good people, these clumsy and abusive attempts to collect these checks result in anger, embarrassment and often the loss of the customer/client.
